HaGal Sheli is an Israeli non profit utilizing surfing as an empowering educational tool, to provide at-risk youth and evacuees a real opportunity to ride the wave to a better life. HaGal Sheli empowers youth from all walks of Israeli society: Jews, Christians, and Muslims, secular and religious, gender-neutral, boys and girls alike.

In the immediate aftermath of the October 7th events, HaGal Sheli initiated an emergency plan to assist Israeli youth in navigating their complex emotions and experiences using surfing. Our goal is to swiftly reach as many affected teens as possible to offer aid, aiming to mitigate the development of PTSD.

We need your help to fix up one of HaGal Sheli's most active centers in Hadassah Neurim to make it feel like home for the evacuees from the south that attend our activities.
