Give Hope This Christmas

Christmas is a season of giving. That’s why every year, we go to different institutions to provide gifts for the needy. As an annual tradition, we will go to the Home for the Aged in Marikina, the Haven for Women in Alabang, and the Correctional Institute for Women.

Here’s the list of activities that we have prepared for December:

• Christmas Eve Meal for 375 Elderly: Php 30,000.00

This is an estimate of Php 80.00 per meal. The cost can still increase because we plan to hire a caterer.

• Gifts for the Elderly: Php 25,000.00

These would be little snack bags that contain fruits, crackers, chocolates, and cupcakes. We will also buy a few gifts to be given as prizes for the games. This activity will be held exactly on Christmas Eve, December 24.

• Gifts for 100 Women at Haven: Php 20,000.00

This activity is scheduled for the third week of December. The gifts for women would be health and hygiene kits that include bath soap, laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, and snacks such as fruits and biscuits.

• Christmas Gathering for 100 women at CIW: Php 25,000.00

This event has no schedule yet, but we might only be able to deliver the goods, depending on the current status of the correctional facility. We will also give them health and hygiene kits that contain bath soap, laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, and snacks.

The need is great, but we also know that a lot of people are struggling due to the pandemic. Any amount or way you would like to help is very much appreciated.

Goods in kind are accepted, although we prefer to receive cash, since we have direct contacts with wholesalers and dealers who can give us discounts.

For the Christmas Eve meals for the home for the elderly, we also prefer cash, unless the donor will hire a caterer directly.
