Support Humanitarian Efforts in Uman

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine started in February 2022, the city of Uman has become a vital logistical and humanitarian hub for all Ukrainians. More than 100,000 internally displaced people have passed through it and 14,000 remain there for refuge.

Located at the heart of the country, Uman serves as a crucial center for providing relief and medical aid with five functioning healthcare facilities and a well-developed network of social protection institutions.

Currently, government establishments are operating at maximum capacity, serving its citizens, IDPs, and civilian and military casualties. The city is in urgent need of additional support as it is continuously targeted by violent attacks.

The Uman City Council has provided the following list of items needed by its healthcare facilities and social protection institutions.

These specialized living materials and medical supplies are essential for Ukrainians, especially with winter coming soon. The city also plans to procure a specialized rescue vehicle which can help in giving swift response and mitigate more casualties.

Through this campaign, We Stand For U aims to raise funds to provide all of the items required and more. We are constantly coordinating with the city council to be updated with the pressing needs on the ground and assist them in their humanitarian efforts.
