Tula Yearly Upkeep

Tula is found 28km away from Bonga in is located in the district of Gimbo, Tula being a village inhabited by farmers living in a state of poverty. The population here is an ethnic minority that is also discriminated against by other ethnicities in the surrounding areas. This day care center was inaugurated in 2017 January with the financial help of the Missionary Movement Jesus in Thy Neighbor whose Founder through the late Fr. George Grima. Since that time it has been giving service to many children, being fed daily and educated, with a current total of 120 students.There are eight workers running this centre but financial constrains may soon cause it to downsize or shut down completely.
