Empower People Using Wheelchairs to Build a Brighter Future

Alin Beit Noam advocates for social justice and human dignity, with a focus on improving the lives of persons with disabilities. All efforts are motivated by a core value and respect for variety and human differences. The organization works diligently to empower the special needs community by providing services and operates a diverse set of projects to enhance their quality of life.

Our participants are adults with complex intellectual and physical disabilities, most of them are people using wheelchairs as well as some also having special requirements for communication.

Our Team, with your help, would like to build a society that values the full and productive involvement of people with disabilities on an equal footing with everyone else, allowing them to reach their full potential and live their lives with dignity, independence, and privacy. Improving their self-esteem and worth through positive representations is a great first step towards bigger, better goals.

We are calling for volunteers anytime and can run afternoon activities for people using wheelchairs. We welcome those who would like to help to promote insight into their abilities and controls, as well as encourage them to see that their abilities don’t necessarily mean “setbacks”.

Community and social life, vocational training, one-on-one and group therapeutic meetings—art, music, animals, therapeutic dialogue, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and snoezelen (sensory stimulation room)—are among the activities provided by the center. The activities are intended to enrich and fulfill the participants' lives by developing and boosting them with fulfilling experiences.

Your volunteering in our activities would also show them that they should not be limited because of the wheelchair. Interaction can be fun by engaging in games, events, and therapy and collaborating with each other to make good memories too. Unleashing the unlimited opportunities of every individual!

The campaign is aimed not only at those with disabilities, but also at the entire community. We appreciate if people can commit and give their time with us on a regular basis or even for a day to help us spread our mission. Help us raise awareness so that more people can join our program.
