<b>A Virlanie Christmas: Everybody deserves a Family</b><b>We know, you’re with us in believing that Every child deserves a family, so we're extending <b>A Virlanie Christmas campaign until the end of January! </b><b>Last Christmas, 1.8 million children spent their holidays alone. </b>This year, we can change that. <b>We want to give you every opportunity to contribute in granting street children’s ultimate wish--to be with a family they can call their own. Paula, 10, a former street child, lost contactwith her mother since four years. “Every year, I wish for one thing: my Nanay. I wish I could be with her for Christmas,” she says. She has been with the Foundation for eight years and while she is thankful to have her Mama Lak and Papa Ricky (Virlanie Tanglaw's house parents), she still wants to see her real mom.There’s no time like a Virlanie Christmas. Every December, the children are able to receive toys, clothing and gifts. While these make them smile, they wish for something that will touch their lives more deeply: a family they can call their own. There is no more sustainable and generous gift for a child than to place him/her in a family. This is built on our mutual belief that the best place for children to grow up is still within a family. You can give a LONG TERM SOLUTION to their basic human need: a sense of belonging and love. Together we can make their wish come true.
