Income Generating Project for PWDs

COVID-19 has forced most of us to stay at home and some were even prevented from working. Those in the informal sector were the ones hit hard since most of them are daily wage earners, and it is now difficult for them to provide for the needs of their families.

Due to the pandemic, a lot of people do not know how to be able to put food on their table, especially persons with disabilities (PWDs).

As a nonprofit that supports PWDs, COVID-19 will not stop us from providing assistance to the vulnerable sectors of the community. We, at Handicapped Care Association (Handicare), Inc., work even harder to ensure that their needs are being met.

We put up this campaign so we can help provide an income generating opportunity for 10 PWDs living in Manila. Our target budget for this campaign is Php 295,000.00. Each PWD will receive Php 29,500.00 capital assistance. Below is the budget allocation:

Food cart (Php 21,500 each)

Php 21,500.00 x 10 = Php 215,000.00

Capital

Php 2,500.00 x 10 = Php = 25,000.00

Utensils

Php 3,000.00 x 10 = Php 30,000.00

Gas stove with LPG cylinder

Php 2,500.00 x 10 = Php = 25,000.00
