Pitchon-Lev is part of the National Emergency Assistance Center that unites various entities working to support the residents of Israel and its soldiers. Pitchon-Lev was established in 1998 to break the cycle of poverty in Israel.
The National Emergency Assistance Center has been recognized as the official body that centralizes humanitarian and tactical assistance towards the Home Front Command and the Knesset in all aspects of equipping and transporting food supplies, equipment, and supporting combat gear.
Pitchon-Lev is dedicated to assisting the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), security forces, and residents and families of Israel. As we all come together to defend the State of Israel.
Current priority is especially assistance for the purchase of the following equipment:
• Ceramic bulletproof vests and helmets
• Headlamps and Hydration packs
• Storm suits and Gas masks
• Field mattresses and Tents
• Hygiene and toiletry items
• Winter and summer clothing for soldiers
• Non-perishable foods

Pitchon-Lev is an apolitical, non-profit organization, established in 1998 as a national humanitarian organization focused on breaking the inter-generational cycle of poverty in Israel. The organization directly assists hundreds of thousands of families every year, distributing thousands of food parcels to needy families on a weekly basis, regardless of their gender, religion, race or nationality. Other activities include counselling and longer term support to help people break the cycle of poverty.
Pitchon-Lev is supported by corporate and individual philanthropy in Israel, and by over 12,000 volunteers annually and a staff of 80.
