On its 30th year of building homes, communities and hope, Habitat Philippines has enabled over 150,000 families to live in safe and sustainable communities, mobilized more than 5 million volunteers to build side by side with partner families, and provided over 125,000 households with access to financial services.However, millions of Filipino families are still living in substandard housing. 22 million Filipinos or one-fifth of the country's population still live below the national poverty line. Many Filipinos remain vulnerable with Manila ranked as 4th world’s most at risk to disasters.
