Wings - training young adults with disabilities for independance anc community integration
Kivunim’s programs, both past and present, have been conceived and implemented for the purpose of advancing young adults, ages 18-50, with disabilities towards the challenges of independent living and community integration.
We envision a world in which people with disabilities are recognized as active, independent, and contributing members of society. Our programs emphasize strengths and abilities, build self-confidence, increase independence and self-management skills and encourage social inclusion.
Kivunim provides services to individuals with physical disabilities, sensory (vision/hearing) impairments, chronic illness and associated disorders, and high-functioning young adults with autism. Our program participants are eager to be independent, manage their own lives, and serve as contributing members of society.
