Our life-preparatory programs are transitional programs that act as a bridge between the parents' home and independent living. These rehabilitative frameworks have been operating successfully for approx. 20 years, during which time their model has been expanding:

- Wings - for young adults with physical disabilities

- Carmel - for high-functioning young adults with autism

- Koach ('strength' in Hebrew) - you young adults with hearing impairments or deafness

- Al-mustaqbal - for Arabic-speaking young adults with disabilities

The programs’ framework includes group living and the enhancement of life skills such as everyday management, financials, health, social interactions, and community involvement. Participants also volunteer in Israel’s National Service and receive vocational training to gain experience and confidence. Participants arrive from all over Israel to train in the program's apartments in Nahariya and Haifa.

At present, the programs operate 45 training apartments serving approx. 115 beneficiaries. With over 200 alumni, 76% of them employed and 34 married, the programs are regarded as a transformative vehicle for participants wishing to train in self-management and independence.
